Sand harbor Lake Tahoe Ca.

I love Lake Tahoe we were there in Oct 2017 and we got the first snow, we were not expecting snow so I didn't even bring chains. It was only about 2 in deep and melted before noon. It was so beautiful I told my wife I have to paint this picture as soon as we get home. Painting the rocks just under the water was a new experience for me, I think it came out pretty good. I decided not to paint the snow on the branches and rocks, I thought I might mess up a painting I was happy with. My wife likes this one so much she said I'm not allowed to ever sell it. As with most of my paintings if I get enough people wanting a print I will have some limited high quality copies made. I really like painting mountains and lakes/seascapes.
